Located in Oadby, this was a challenge from moving from a flagship office to a satellite branch, but a challenge that motivates me to be the best and have my name shown in light. My roles involve but not limited to; maintaining the branch standards, KPI achievements, training and developing current and new starts and ensuring all personal and career goals are achieved.

Ventured my way back in to the corporate side after taking a risk going independent. I found my feet again within the ConnellsGroup and I wanted to push myself to new heights and achieve PBs. Taking on the role of an instructions manager my duties include but not limited to winning listings, managing and maintaining market share, increasing our available stock whilst ensuring pricing is accurate for my team to achieve the highest market share in sales. Training and developing current and new listers within our area. Nothing beats a quick completion for our vendors and buyers and so I am a lover of auction properties and working with our I Am Sold auction team.

After 6 months, I got my promotion from trainee negotiator to senior sales negotiator. Taking on the roles of sales chasing, winning instructions, booking mortgage appointments and valuations. I won many Negotiator of the month awards and qualified for quarterly events. I was seen as the next direct contact for learning and development for new staff members and running the branch in my managers absence.

Starting as a trainee negotiator. In my first 2 months I won ‘Negotiator of the month’ and I also hit the award for the most mortgage sign ups in a month, both within my first couple of months. Qualifying for quarterly awards and being put on my senior negotiator plan. I moved from a satellite branch to the City Centre office where there were more opportunities for me.

As a complaints manager I came across various bridges. I have a good understanding with customers and I’m also very empathetic. I find it easy to build a rapport with my customer and find the quickest, yet most efficient way of taking their complaint to its resolution. There were many aspects to this job, managing payments, checking the national database for correct serial/meter point reference numbers, explaining bills and payment queries and ultimately stopping a complaint going through to the ombudsman.

Qualified in Travel & Tourism. I had a passion for travelling and learning more about the industry with the intent to become cabin crew.
