These applications in the field of industrial operations, consumer electronics, healthcare, security and energy devices have contributed to improved energy efficiency for positive societal change. My duties as communications advisor include:- preparing, writing, coordinating and correcting a range of communication materials intended for internal and external use: official positions, contributions to public consultations, briefing notes and presentations for members and policymakers, speeches by board members, etc.- management of external communication channels such as website, press releases, newsletters, social media, etc.- graphic design and compliance with the association's visual identity through its communication channels;- evaluation of European legislative proposals and their potential impact on the European chip industry;- campaigning for particularly important EU legislative proposals, including liaising with and managing policymakers in the Council of the EU, the European Parliament and the European Commission;- desk research on various subjects, especially topical political and economic issues;- daily press monitoring concerning the European and global chip industry, as well as relevant political developments in the EU and other regions with large-scale chip production;- organisation of events, for example in the context of the World Semiconductor Council (WSC); and- support in various administrative tasks.
