I have been at 10+ startups/early stage in Chief Technology Officer, VP Development/Technology, Product Strategy & Management, Bus. Development executive positions and founding team since 1983. I love the game. I have launched or have responsibility for designing/launching of over 100+ major software products/projects/business lines from initial conception. My main experience is creating web-based software technology oriented products/companies & hosted(SaaS) web services. Products are mainly in B2B & B2B2C and some B2C.As avocation(via 88Spark), mostly for the opportunity to mutually learn from/meet smart people, I do technology and business due diligence for VC investors & mergers/acquisitions and consult as business/technology advisor to various startups. For the same, I am gratified to have the opportunity to mentor students with aspirations to be entreprenuers.My favorite charity is Kiva.org (See http://www.kiva.org/lender/chlow) where I focus on lending to women entrepreneurs. My belief is that when women generate their own wealth & control the family purse string, they are likely to ensure their children get what they need to grow up to be major contributors in advancing their community/country.Specialties: I help my team create shareholder value through customer focused design and building innovative software products in mid stage/startup or replatform/repositioning in spinoff, relaunch, pivot or growth situations. It is an adrenalin rush & gratifying puzzle solving experience to get just vague ideas to launch the products/services. My key secret is the knowhow to assemble great teams that are smarter than I, have complementary core strengths, provide environment for success & then get out of their way! I define leadership as inspiring people to achieve what they otherwise are not inclined to.My current passion is studying businesses to manage our 65+ stocks portfolio using a value growth dividend income strategy, and some options trading.

My role is to advise them on their work, life in US and lessons in entrepreneurialship. On occasion, I get to help some with their business plans they hope to launch when they graduate.
