About Chris Manley

Selling is helping. I started my career as an early employee of a gaming tech company, where I helped grow the business from a startup to a publicly traded firm. My role evolved along the way, from managing one territory to leading national sales for the company. Scaling a business and learning how to translate technology concepts into layman's terms were valuable lessons that I was fortunate to experience early in my career. I then joined an boutique application development shop called Skookum in 2011, where I was again fortunate to have a front row seat to a rapidly growing company that was driven by culture, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit. I consider myself lucky to have had a part in creating a culture I got to share with clients everyday for so many years, and to have made some of the best friends and professional relationships anyone could ever ask for. Along the way with Skookum, I became a partner in the firm and got to experience another development opportunity, when we sold the firm (Skookum, now Method). After growing to 100+ employees, multiple locations, and dozens of Fortune 100 engagements, we sold in 2019 to GlobalLogic, which was then acquired by Hitachi in part because of the value that our acquisition helped create.My co-workers and friends will tell you I’m a bit of a renaissance man who knows a little bit about a lot of things. I love meeting people and getting to know them. Chances are if we talk for 30 seconds, we’ll find some common ground, and within a few minutes, I’ll be brainstorming solutions for your latest challenge or connecting you with someone who can help you.Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my family and adding to my collection of diverse interests. From playing music, coaching sports for my two boys, fly fishing, or doing DIY projects, I believe we’re happiest when we’re self-sufficient and fully participating in the things that support our lives.
