Taking first a degree in Computer Science from the unique at the time, Computer Engineering and Informatics Dept. (CEID) in Greece and immediately after a two-year MBA program, I tried to combine the areas of Information Technology, Business and Finance. Following a similar course in my professional career, I initially worked as software engineer and then as head of technical teams and projects. I was Director of the Risk Management and Clearing Division of ATHEXClear (the Greek Capital Market Clearing House), and since May 2019 I am COO of EnExClear S.A, the Clearing House of Hellenic Energy Exchange. With my participation in both local and international projects of medium and high complexity, I gained experience on project and personnel management and cooperation at international level. The scope of the projects I have participated into, include IT systems development, trading and clearing of stocks and derivatives products, energy markets development & operation and risk management.Moreover, my participation to regulation compliance projects like the authorisation of ATHEXClear as a Qualified Central Counterparty according to EMIR and authorisation of EnExClear as a Clearing House for the Greek Energy Market brought me in touch with legal and regulation issues.I regularly follow European and international conferences and on-line forums to keep in touch with international developments and trends.
