Making Music is the largest umbrella body to support UK amateur music societies.Responsible for all areas of administrative support in the Central Office, and first point of contact for all external communication and provided PA support to the Chief Executive. Included role within the Membership Services team, with responsibility for facilities budgets and co-ordinating several national arts projects. Facilitated the day to day running of the Central Office through administrational support, office maintenance and facilities management, supporting Central Office staff, a Team of regional Youth Officers, Training & Development Officers and volunteer Committees. Also included management of the enterprises arm of the organisation.

Leading a project to modernise the BBC’s archive and performance collections of choral sheet music. Primary responsibilities were to make the decisions to keep or remove stock and to provide the library’s main point of reference for choral related queries and external inquiries.

Running the boarding house for the choristers of St. Paul’s Cathedral and overseeing all aspects of the choristers’ musical life. Covering for absent teachers, supervising and administering classroom lessons in all subjects. Taking music practice sessions and ensemble rehearsals, including small group teaching and coaching.
