As the CFO at Shifo Foundation, I am responsible for driving the organisation's financial strategy and ensuring that we are using our resources effectively to achieve our goals. In my role, I oversee all financial and accounting activities, including budgeting, financial operations, and compliance with regulatory taxation obligations and banking partners. I am responsible for co-ordinating the organisational annual audit and all the project audits and ensuring that we are fully compliant with regulatory laws and agreements.In addition to my financial responsibilities, I oversee the organisation's financial reporting, ensuring that all records are kept to a high standard and reported to the Board, management, and supporting partners. I'm proud to say that my work has helped to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve, and I'm excited to work with the Shifo Foundation to achieve our vision.One of my new initiatives at Shifo was suggesting and working on designing a payment product that optimises payments for our beneficiaries. As a co-founder of e-AfriCar Technologies Limited, I had the opportunity to help drive the automotive industry forward and build a new startup in Zambia from the ground up. During my time at e-AfriCar, I wore many hats, including serving as one of the product developers and software engineers on the team, as well as the CEO driving the vision of the company.Our flagship product, HyKe, is a peer-to-peer ride-sharing app that enables people to hike both short and long distances. As a team, we worked tirelessly to develop and launch the product on the Google Play Store, and have since continued to improve it based on feedback from our beta users.
