I passed both my SAICA qualifying exams first time and have qualified as a Chartered Accountant.Post articles I have been in the financial services industry, specifically in the Hedge Fund industry. I have enjoyed this industry due to the high-paced environment and continuous challenges and projects. I am a mature, responsible and committed individual who is diligent, thorough and detail orientated. I enjoy working in a team whilst also possessing strong leadership and management skills. Major projects:Implementation of Salesforce - Company CRM. The implementation of Salesforce included reconciling all historical investor data which included over 1000 investors. This included implementing a new process on receiving investor data and having the system consume the data in a manner in which we could use the CRM system for opportunity tracking, sales projection, meeting tracking as well as keeping the data in an accurate and consistent format for reporting.Implementation of Enfusion - Company Portfolio Management System. The implementation of the portfolio management system was one of the largest projects I have been involved with and took a full year to implement. I was involved in the full set up on Enfusion which included all technical set up such as swap agreements, mandate limits, regulatory limits and account set up. I was then also involved in the on-boarding and migration of our take on balances. As the first South African client for Enfusion this also included having to set up South African related limits, fees and withholding tax rates to ensure the system was accurate for our needs. Duties:- Automation of fund processes such as the data being brought into Enfusion- Review of fund valuations on a monthly basis- Review of fund compliance with mandate compliance rules- Assistance in operations such as settlements, cash reconciliations and compliance reporting for the funds- Reconciliation of Enfusion to the prime brokers and administrators- Assisting with the administration requirements of launching new funds and products including ensuring KYC and FICA compliance- Review of Due diligence documents- Assisting with the opening of new brokerage accounts, bank accounts- Assistance with the external audit of the company and would assist with adhoc queries from the auditors related to the fund audits- Submission of the annual tax return for the main company as well as dormant entities
