I am a creative consultant running my own practice and an online store. My first brush with art was in primary school when my teach drew a village on the black board with triangles and squares. Art became my passion and was my heaven sent school subject as I didn't have to work at it. Leaving school put me at the proverbial fork in the road where one leads to the fine arts and a life as a starving artist. The other promised instant gratification. All I need do was win hearts and minds for products and services using art as a tool. I became an adman. I was fortunate to cut my teeth in a leading local ad agency which exposed me to some high profile brands. Then I got a break at an international agency which can be said to be my finishing school where I learned to do things the Madison Avenue way. Soon I had enough confidence to start my own creative hot shop and that's where I am now.Looking back I have worked in mass communications most of my life, specialising in advertising and brand identity. Accounts I served included regional and global airlines, travel agencies, hotels and restaurants, property developers, mass retailers and consumer goods manufacturers. In recent years I have rediscovered my first love – a passion for fine arts, in particular, contemporary painting fusing eastern and western media and execution.
