01.As part of the Global Supply team in leading the negotiations with vendors on contractual amendments as per UK regulatory requirement.02. Ensure legal compliance of contractual amendments as per UK regulatory requirement.03. Work with the Global Procurement Category Managers in identifying respective contracts & vendors.04. Project management of contract creation, amendments, documenting full, partial & non-acceptance.

• Perform tactical purchasing for direct commodities such as material planning, issuing of PO (Purchase Orders), expediting & re-scheduling of deliveries.• Coordination with Product & Marketing on management of demand & forecast for APAC regions.• Material management on inventory turns, slow moving & dead stock on Raw & Finished parts.• NPI project committee member. Participate in the implementation of product introduction program for solar films cater for FMCG market.• Production planning/scheduling for APAC regions.• Optimization & stream-lining of supply chain activities for warehousing, logistics & 3PL.• Vendor management & contract maintenance

• Manage day-to-day supervisory procurement/purchasing roles over 4 staff. These include ensuring that the entire team meets the department SLA(Service Level Agreement) such as Purchase Order turn-around, RFQ response, expediting of material for shortages, contract formulation & maintenance, resolving quality issues with vendor etc. • Training & coaching of staff. Training includes On-the-Job demonstration of preparation & executing of negotiation with vendors on strategic costing, contractual agreement & quality issues. Training staff on the maximization of the SAP system in the material module.• Execute strategic/ tactical sourcing through extension of list of vendors to improve supply availability of raw material e.g. Engineering Plastics, Aluminium, Stainless & Carbon Steel, Copper etc.; Localization of components on purchases from USA such as fasteners to lower freight cost & lead time.• Conduct suppliers’ audit with the quality assurance team.• Employee annual performance appraisal.• Formulate, stream-line & implement work process/ procedure in department such as WKI (Work Instructions), & ISO 9100 procurement procedure.• Ensure training & compliance in Copy Exact quality standards by Applied Materials in both purchasing department & vendors.
