Founded Makeshift, a digital product design company and startup studio with Paul Birch and Stef Lewandowski to explore new design and making centric methods of developing startups. Developed many digital products over 18 months aiming to 'give a leg up to the little guy'. All projects self funded, no clients.

Design Director at small but very interesting design agency. Helped grow the firm significantly over two years or so - from 2 to 20 staff. Worked closely with founder to focus the consulting proposition around 'helping big companies innovate like startups' - interesting mix of strategy consulting and hands on making. Developed new business strategy, won major international clients from cold - Red Bull, Sky, Comic Relief. Hired around 20+ designers, developers and product people over my time at Sidekick. Shipped loads of great software products, developed internal processes and had loads of fun.
