In January 2018 my position was eliminated due to a corporate restructure. During my 9 years at the company I received three promotions before going through several company transitions, from E.W. Scripps to Journal Media Group in 2014, then purchased by Gannett and the USA Today Network in mid-2016.In September 2015 I was promoted to Digital Sales Manager and retained all responsibilities of previous role as Key Account Sales Manager. In these roles I led the overall advertising department's digital advertising sales growth in addition to managing our core print advertising solutions in the Corpus Christi Caller-Times. Developed customized digital-first campaigns and proposals for prospective clients, matched with creative ideas to engage our print audience. Inspired the advertising department sales team members to identify, prospect, present and close new business. Built strong, trusting relationships with clients, key community members, and internal partners to advance the company into the future.In April 2011 I was promoted to Key Accounts Sales Manager and was responsible for up to 5 sales reps and 2 sales assistants covering the more complex major advertisers including automotive dealers, hospitals and medical facilities, grocery stores, colleges and universities, major furniture retailers, real estate, regional and national accounts, and advertising agencies.After my first year as a digital sales rep in the field I was promoted to the Digital Product Specialist.
