· Backend • Developed REST API proxy services based on vendor’s packages, which centralizes the access point for better management and reduces the study time for other developers from a week to one day. • Received feature requests from other departments to extend our service responsibility by providing more custom APIs and updating table schema in database. • Launched a whole new batch service, Employee Communication service, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, post-deployment examination by using Spring framework and cloud service Azure Pipelines.· Mobile application • Added a new feature to the internal self-learning mobile app based on Spring framework and Flutter, which enables users to bookmark, like, and mark the article as read. • Designed a relational database table schema, which is used to relate learning articles and analyze user behaviors by using Gliffy.· DevOps • Migrated services to internal K8S cloud and adopted Azure Pipeline CI/CD tools to help reduce the maintenance cost and have more visibility on service metrics. • Reduced daily operation workload on IT Virtual Resource Management portal for our users by implementing a feature which allows users to do batch jobs instead of single task. • Used JUnit for function test, Shell Script for integration end to end test, and Sonarqube for testing coverage. • Drew design diagrams using Gliffy and wrote out standard operating procedures for operators to handle users’ questions.
