My research passion is to utilize and develop novel neuroimaging techniques in order to understand brain in health and disease. Given the complexity of the brain structure and function, this research demands the combination of multi-modal imaging techniques such as fMRI, diffusion MRI, ophthalmic imaging etc. with other clinical and biological data such as demographic, environment and genetics to enable the assessment of brain physiology in health, and how it is altered in the presence of pathology. My research focuses are mainly centered around (neuro)degenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease and age-related retinal disorders.
