While working at Tommy Hilfiger Retail Canada, I gained the skills to excel in merchandise planning. I was responsible for over $150 million in sales for 50 stores. I was also in charge of the planning of our retail business from start to finish, budgeting, inventory product flow, forecasting and assortment planning. My decisions and recommendations were implemented nationwide, resulting in increased sales and gross profits while also limiting and reducing major losses. I was flexible and confident enough to tackle any project my boss threw my way. And as a quick learner and with the desire to challenge myself, I worked autonomously to create special projects that would further help our business, including retooling our Merchandise Assortment Plan.
