Formed corporations, represented clients at administrative interviews, in immigration court exclusion and deportation hearings, appeals to the Commissioner, the Board of Immigration Appeals and in litigation in the federal courts

Responsible for caseload and litigation in a variety of civil matters. Trial experience in state court included child abuse and neglect, landlord-tenant, consumer, housing, custody, spouse abuse and paternity cases. Also handled litigation involving access by indigents to hospitals, i.e. Hill-Burton Act. Some experience in Title VII litigation in federal court.Supervised and reviewed the work of summer interns and law student volunteers. Assisted in the establishment of a Counselling and Referral Service in conjunction with the Asian American Council of Greater Philadelphia to enhance the delivery of legal services to the Asian community.
