Role:- Backend DeveloperResponsibilities:-- Dev Ops for the cloud services.- To update/upgrade the firmware and manage the complete deployment cycle of the new features added in the existing/new product.- Management of supported services and existing product architecture to make the new, as well as existing things, work in place.- Live clients issues, bugs tracking, live support for remote debugging, etc.Projects Summary:-- Cubical Internal Dashboard:Developed a multipurpose dashboard powered by PHP Yii2 framework to fulfill requirements of various departments which includes Operations, Installation, Software, Testing.- Smart Guide:Designed and developed Smart Guide APIs for Cubical User app which provides user to control his TV/DTH from the app itself. Around 200 channels are supported and maintained with multiple DTH providers with channel schedule for the next 2 days.- Logging System(Analytics):System to log the data received from the client devices such as online connectivity, wifi health, device switching operations, sensor readings, etc. and analyzing it to find malfunctioning & product health.- Core Firmware:Updates & upgrades in the existing firmware for the new features. Major parts of this include upgrading CubeR Protocol, Device Stability (connectivity, storage, logging, boot time, system corruption, firmware updates, etc), Sensors/Energy consumption data logging, etc.- Energy Monitoring:Algorithm updated to correctly analyze the energy being used by the appliances, their logging(local as well as the cloud) and creating APIs to populate energy graphs in the user app.- Cubical Smart Home - Alexa Skill (for Amazon Alexa)Developed this voice skill to be used with Alexa enabled devices to control Home Appliances using voice commands. User can operate their complete home using voice commands like turning on/off appliances, dimming, scheduling, changing colors, regulating AC temperature, Moods, etc.
