About Rolando Iii Llido
Hi! Most people me Choy. I started my Career in Restaurant Industry in 2012, after I finished my Certificate in Culinary Arts as a Cook in the Biggest Hog’s Breath Café in the World located in Davao City. Then I was promoted to Chef de Partie in just 2 months then finally promoted as the Executive Chef in July 2014.I then left my Hog’s Breath in 2015 to gain experience in other restaurants. I went to Manila on the same year and had Apprenticeships in 3 Restaurants. Went on a Culinary Immersion in Tacurong, Bohol, Cebu, and Iloilo in 2016. Then opened a restaurants with my friends as business partners in 2017 named “The Good Food Co.” It was also on this year that I started accepting Consultancy on different restaurants and Hotel. In 2018, I was invited to speak on different colleges and universities and then invited by LTB Davao Chapter to do a Culinary Immersion and Halal Training in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia together with other Chefs and Deans of Colleges and Universities. In August, I was appointed to become the Vice Chairman of the Annual Davao Culinary Cup. On the same year, we opened the 2nd Branch of The Good Food Co.In 2019, I did an Culinary Immersion on the the different tribes of Davao to understand the roots of Davao Cuisine. Then, Davao Tourism Association invited me, and other Chefs of Davao City, to rediscover Davao Cuisine and do a Davao Cuisine banquet and introduce the Cuisines to the Tourism Community of Davao Region.In March 2020, I was hired as the Pre-Opening Operations Manager of Camp Bernardino de Lavigan Resort in Governor Generoso which opened on July 2020. In January I was appointed the OIC Human Resource and on April as the OIC Sales and Marketing while maintaining the OIC HR and Operations Manager until leaving the Resort in May 2021Currently, I am the Operation Manager and Executive Chef of The Good Food Co. and the Business and Operations Consultant of 495 Cafe(since 2016), Trays Davao(Since February 2020), and Kitchen Operations Consultant of EJLD Tourism Consultation.
