- He led a team of 5 FTE in two process areas: 1) Procure-to-Pay and 2) Forecast-to-Stock.Key Highlights during this stint at F&N were:- FNDT FTS (Forecast-To-Stock) Project – Implementation of PP and re-implementation of MM on ECC6 platform.- New implementation in ECC6 platform for a new factory to specifically support finance transactions and procurement activities during construction phase.

- He was engaged by IBM Malaysia to attend to Hyundai Motor Malaysia on an urgent basis at a critical stage (UAT) of the project to ensure an on-time delivery of the system by March 3rd 2009.- His main role was to review the existing proposed design to ensure best practices and integration between Finance and Logistics are adhered to and to resolve critical design/process issues in the areas of IS-Auto VMS and Dealer Portal.- His other role was to provide technical assistance to the ABAP developers on IS-Auto related matters.- The project has since gone live on time and in support mode.

- An engagement via Accenture- He was implementing SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) running on the SAP ECC 5.0 platform for the marketing arm of this national automobile manufacturer / distributor. - His role as a SAP Automotive/Logistics consultant is to provide solution design, configure and implement VMS running on SAP ECC 5.0, and to rollout nationwide to all Proton Edar branches and dealer network. The solution includes branches access via SAPGUI and dealers via web-based Dealer Portal.- His main focus in the project was to build a solution for the client around VMS, utilizing key standard ECC 5.0 Logistics features like: Purchasing; Subcontracting; Inventory Management (including Stock Count); Invoice Verification; Service Management; Variant Configuration (Including IPC); Variant Pricing; Bill of Materials; and Sales, Delivery and Billing.- He also handles interfaces to the Road Transport Department (for vehicle registration), Customs Department (for information retrieval), Finance companies (For Duty Payments), Insurance companies (For Insurance application and payments) and to DBM I-Objects.- The project went live successfully on 6th December 2006.

Singapore

- DaimlerChrysler Wholesale Global Template (WST) project used the SAP 4.6C based IS-Auto VMS 2.0 and 3.0. The project was setup as a shared service centre structure- He was part of the core team actively involved in Logistics (PP & MM) consulting for DC in WST system analysis, design & development and rollout implementations (training, data migration & support activities) in the Asia Pacific and South Africa region.- His main area of focus was on Vehicle Ordering Process and the Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC) using SAP MM & PP functionalities. (i.e. Variant Configuration, Variant Pricing, Assembly Manufacturing, Standard Purchasing, Sub-contract Purchasing, MRP; etc).- His other key responsibilities were to provide 2nd level support – enhancements and continuous improvements to the rollout countries.- He went through roll-out implementations in Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia.He was also part of design and testing team comprising of DC business people and automotive experts together with developers, from SAP Asia, SAP Australia and SAP AG, for the development of new automotive functionalities for the next release of SAP IS Automotive.- Interface Development - Designed and coordinated the development & testing of factory ordering and vehicle production interfaces to DC assembly plants i.e. WST interface to DCAG and DC South Africa assembly plant (PLZ) at East London.- Lead the CKD business process analysis and design initiative in DC Indonesia, DC Thailand and DC Malaysia, to incorporate the CKD business into the WST- Seconded to DaimlerChrysler Malaysia and assumed the role of Support Consultant and Business User while the new startup company was taking shape.
