About Chris Fleming, Cprp

For 14 years, Chris Fleming has worked extensively across multiple thematic areas: communications, public relations advocacy, SRHR, gender and HIV/AIDS in Eswatini and Ethiopia. He is a certified Chartered Public Relations Practitioner by the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA) and an Alumnus of the African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AUYVC – 6th Cohort). He has contributed articles to The Maravi Post (Malawi) and penned a weekly column in the Times of Eswatini; led the Communication units at the Family Life Association of Swaziland (FLAS) and the Youth Division of the African Union Commission (AUC); and served as Programme Manager at Kwakha Indvodza. In 2022, he co-founded South to East Communications, the newest regional communications and PR player, working with private and public sector entities. Additionally, he joined UNICEF's HIV/AIDS Section in New York as a Social & Digital Media Consultant. Chris is also an avid reader, writer, researcher and social commentator, using his voice, keyboard and networks to exchange ideas with fellow young Africans, seeking long-lasting solutions to some of the continent’s toughest challenges.
