This role involved selling surname histories and bespoke plaques to tourists in the Edinburgh castle.I thoroughly enjoyed working in such an iconic monument and being part of a small but more involved team. I particularly excelled in this role as I became more confident and natural with my customer interactions, selling to tourists from all over the world.

Working at River island for over 6 months gave me a great depth of practical skills. I mainly worked on the men’s floor and I was often left to manage the floor myself, I would be responsible for replenishing stock levels, maintaining a tidy shop floor, while also serving customers at the till and around the stands, I am very comfortable at adapting and multitasking under pressure to be efficient and friendly.
