Adams has founded technology and medical device companies, invented new technologies from ophthalmology to metabolic and cancer therapeutics and raised venture financing. His leadership experience includes forming scientific and business advisory boards, negotiating key corporate agreements and managing research collaborations. The companies and technologies have received national and international recognition. Adams co-invented and commercialized a corneal wound healing device based on the combination of an amniotic membrane and contact lens. The technology has been used on over 200,000 patients.
