- Sunice Europe – sale of business to Canadian purchaser, co-ordinating simultaneous transaction across 3 jurisdictions with UK, US and Canadian courts- SLP Engineering – running the finance team and managing the insolvency of a company employing 1,300 East Anglian workers. This included negotiating commercial deals with customers to allow the build-out of a £250m accommodation platform for BP and subsequent sale of the business- Arlington Hotel Group – completed the sale of 4 East Anglian hotels in 10 days beating expectations on value and timing- Project Salsa – advising the FD and CEO of a £250m turnover client on the optimal exit from its Spanish subsidiary, implementing that solution and helping it refinance its UK Bank lending- Dairy Farmers of Britain – running the finance and logistics departments of a company supplying 10% of the UK’s milk, ensuring a smooth handover of 1,600 farmers to new dairies without missing a single milk delivery

- Independent business review of £200m turnover UK telecoms business; reviewing the business plans and reporting to the senior lenders to enable a consensual refinancing of the various debt and equity holdings- ‘Carve-out’ of a $500m turnover electronics manufacturer from larger group. Following the purchase by a US PE fund, I managed the European team in setting up a standalone treasury and finance function, this included; budgeting, working capital management and cash flow forecasting on behalf of the purchasers- Managed the wind-down of loss-making Spanish automotive plant on behalf of US PE fund. My role was to lead the finance department including; cash flow forecasting, treasury management, negotiating ongoing funding from key customers, reporting to US PE fund and asset disposals- Complex financial restructuring of pan-European wood flooring manufacturer. Working on behalf of the UK secured lenders I assisted in the preparation of a cross-border ‘pre-pack’ insolvency plan to be implemented should a consensual restructuring fail
