About Chris Ahern
Chris is A&R Manager for AtSongs, a music publishing company based in Cork, Ireland. A professional musician and songwriter, he founded the music course in CSN Cork in 1989, and graduates have gone on to have very fruitful careers in the industry as artists, writers, managers and sound engineers. He has played with Stargazers for over 30 years, touring throughout the world and releasing five albums during that time, featuring many originals and songs written with other artists. His co-writes with Karrie have been covered by Mary Coughlan and Mick Flannery, among others. Chris has recently moved on from CSN and now lectures in Songwriting and Professional Studies at MTU Cork School of Music as well as working full-time in A&R.
