Throughout my short 12 years of being an adult, I have learnt a lot from my successes and most importantly, my mistakes. From my first professional contact to my most recent one, I have always looked for an opportunity of growth. I am a firm believer that a goal is achieved just for trying. The outcome may have changed, but the opportunity for growth did not. When you do not try at all, that’s when you fail. As a young professional, I have strived to make my family and mentors proud. Growing up in foster care most of my early development years, caring for my mother as a teenager, being supported financially by the state until I was 18, and not being able to afford to finish college taught me a lot. Too many, hear only heartbreak when I share my childhood story. But for me, I know I wouldn’t have the drive, ambition, humility, and wisdom I have today if it wasn’t for my past. I have been serving clients with their commercial roofing needs for almost 10 years. I’m not your average Account Manager, I started in the industry at the bottom. My first week in the industry was tearing off a “pitch” built up roof and no one told me what it was….I found out quickly. Even though I was barely able to sleep or open my eyes for a few days, I did not give up. The owner saw my ambition and personally offered to teach me everything he knew. That opportunity, built the foundation of my career. Today, I love digging into customer’s problems and solve them with a combination of modern technology, and technical knowledge. Getting my hands dirty has been in my blood since I was 6 years old; when I first started working in the vegetable garden at home. I have experience in helping customers stay under budget, extend their roof life expectancy, protect their assets, achieve more ROI, and help prevent accidents by keeping their facilities dry. Throughout my career I have grown experience in: SOP development, exceeding client’s KPIs, customer retainage, estimating, project management, budget, and field experience/hands-on.
