Knectar is a web development company that provides Drupal 8, Shopify and Shopify Plus, API development and web architecture solutions in support of design agencies, universities and brands. Chris founded Knectar in 2005 with the goal of building a team and development strategy that combines sophisticated project management practice with superior technical expertise. The approach has worked well, and Knectar has expanded many-fold since its start, both in staff numbers, as well as in a maturing process and depth of client support services.

I founded Carv.io based on years of first-hand experience managing a production team, as a means to better manage and predict resourcing challenges.

Chris was a project manager and team-lead for 5-7 programmers and designers. He designed the initial product mock-ups for both web-based and desktop-based versions the Dragonfly application with a SOAP / .NET web-services infrastructure. Responsible for task management, project time-line management, team coordination, hiring/firing, bug-tracking, milestone and progress reporting. Built functional specification documents for UI, middle-tier business logic, back-end batch processes and server process automation. Launched multiple versions of the application through 2004-2005.
