Through this servant leadership I have built and guided agile teams to focus on specific projects, long lived teams focused on different markets as well as large growing teams exploring new opportunities. I partner with product and use technology to open up new capabilities that drive our strategic thinking and work with development teams to implement best practices and good architecture design.I also believe that effective teams are partnerships between technology, product and design and work to inspire this idea in others. By building trust across the organization, diverse opinions and healthy debates are encouraged. This pushes teams to experiment, learn and build great products. As individuals we are empowered to develop new skills, challenge ourselves in new ways and become leaders in unique ways. Encouraging this diverse growth as well as diverse opinions is what makes good teams great.I find that surrounding myself with people that challenge me in both ideas as well as their expectations of me drives my personal development. Through my experiences as engineering manager, director and leader I have been a part of launching new product areas within my organizations and helped shape the strategic direction.
