  Building Enterprise is a University of Nottingham project aimed at building the capacity of social enterprises, social businesses and micro businesses in Nottingham. The project has three main elements;1. Enabling enterprises to commission a postgraduate researcher to undertake a specific project which will develop their business or solve a particular issue2. Exploring developing technologies such as open data, open source software, cloud computing, even 3-D printing through a series of masterclasses, aimed at giving enterprises a competitive edge and exploring new markets.3. Faciliting access to the University's world class facilities, networks and development opportunitiesMy role involves managing the project, encouraging social enterprises to participate in the project and creating network and partnership opportunites.
