While my background has been in the hi-tech industry, in the lasts 10 years, I have spent much of my free time learning and perfecting my landscape photography and videography skills. My focus for the last 3 years has been in Videography and Website Development. At the beginning of 2017 I turned my focus of taking the videography and photography to the air and have since earned my FAA Part 107 Drone Certificate allowing me to do commercial work using my DJI Inspired 2 drone with cinema camera. My focus is Drone Videography and Photography. My transition to flying the drone was aided by having flown large 6’ rotor span radio controlled helicopters in my past for about 5 years. Currently I am developing my business doing stock videography and photography and recently had 11 of my videos accepted by Getty Images as well as working as a contractor for other companies both as a pilot of their drone as well as piloting my own equipment.Combing videography with website development, I have developed the skills in using the Sony A7Rii, A7s, and A7sii Cameras for both photography and Videography with the emphasis on videography. I have developed my skills in shooting using cinegamas and log styles and editing using the studio version of Davinci Resolve and I am currently using version 14 for all my editing, color correction and grading work.
