CurrentManaged the sourcing and deployment of a software solution to support the Marshall Batteries roadside battery replacement business. This included a mobile application as well as back office functionality to support call centre and job booking activities. This process involved preparing software specifications, prototyping the software in VB6, authoring most of the required Crystal reports and developing a module in VB6 for monitor data integrity of the software system and closing some functionality gaps re job inquiry, management of fleet jobs, Fitment guide maintenance, van territory maintenance. Developed complex Excel spreasheets using VBA and SQL to meet the reporting requirements of the business with the result that most report requests can be satisfied within a few hours with a process whereby the all the user has to do exceute the process using a Macro button and the required data formatted and summarised as required is loaded onto an Excell Spreadsheet. This technology has been used to automate management accounts, download data from the JD Edwards ERP, automate the reconciliation of the debtors,creditors,stock,stock in transit,work in process, goods received not vouchered accounts on the JD Edwards World ERP Solution.I have also developed a Intranet website for the Australian business using Visual Studio Web developer which includes a fully automated stock holding plan report, reports to support Purchasing and warehousing activities and a complete module to support Corrective Action Requests in the factory and elswhere.As IT Manager Asia -Pacific I played a significant role in the deployment of JD EDWARDS World to our Indian business and am also involved in the ongoing support of that business.I have developed a software solution in VB6 to calculate stock aging and am in the process of redeveloping the solution in VB.Net 2010.
