I joined Maple Reinders, Inc when the Langley Branch was just a little more than 1 year old. As this was a new branch just starting out in the competitive Lower Mainland market, I was looked to for both Sr leadership in the field and to provide mentorship to our young Operations staff. I was brought on board to be a part of Carillion's construction team at YVR Airport. For the past 8 to 10 years Carillion (formerly Vanbots Construction) has been performing Construction jobs at the Airport ranging in size from $200,000 to approximately $50M. I am presently involved with the Baggage Back Bone project which involves reconfiguration of existing and addition of new conveyance to improve the movement of baggage in and out of the terminal.

I began my time with FWS working from within their Calgary Commercial division. Here I was the Superintendent on a number of projects ranging from an addition to a Rural Hockey Arena, to overseeing and coordinating the completion of an Assisted living facility in Southern Alberta. I was responsible for all of Scates' construction activities at Agilent Technologies' Santa Clara campus. I would take a project from the initial job walk, all the way through estimating, scheduling and site supervision. On our design build projects I would work with the Architect and M/E Engineers to ensure all of the customer's design requirements were addressed and included in the scope. We performed both facility maintenance tasks via their in house workorder system as well as small construction projects. We specialized in performing tasks with in the clean rooms and Pharmaceutical Fill areas. I supervised a variety of projects ranging from building a Telcom cleanroom to house servers, to adding airhandlers to AT&T broadband stations for additional cooling of equipment.
