My professional career began in traditional marketing with Correa Law in 2011 helping to create an identity for a brand looking to grow its foothold on law services on Chicago's west side. Recognizing how much there was to learn about the marketing industry, I enrolled in graduate school to study business psychology in order to understand the fundamental mechanisms of consumer behavior, the many frameworks driving employee and customer motivation, and how modern relationships between organizations and individuals can leave lasting impressions on one another. After earning a master's degree I began my agency career as an associate media buyer for the WPP subsidiary Mindshare where I was responsible for investing the digital media dollars of Fortune 500 companies like Kimberly-Clark, Sam's Club, and the pharmaceutical giant Celgene. Having gained knowledge of Paid media, I sought to broaden my experience by venturing into Owned media for the Publicis subsidiary Razorfish where the Best Buy account was growing their e-commerce division.Today I am proud to lead the media planning department for Best Buy serving as a career manager to all nine media planners, growing our client's portfolio of investors, and continuing to build upon the processes and polices I helped create over the last seven years.Outside of work you're just as likely to find me atop a mountain as you are inside a pub. I consider myself a news junkie, chess addict, and enthusiast of all things Dylan, Nolan, and Gladwell.
