Mr. Augustine performed many tasks related to water/wastewater infrastructure project design and construction. Many of the tasks include, but are not limited to:•Responsible for designing and developing pumping systems related to water/wastewater treatment processes, water distribution systems, and pump stations.•Prepare mechanical construction drawings alongside the civil, structural, electrical, and I&C design team.•Develop project-specific mechanical equipment specifications, O&M manuals, technical memorandums, and preliminary design reports.•Select and size mechanical equipment through vendor collaboration and calculations using industry standards and practices.•Conduct field services during design and construction of water/wastewater treat facilities and pumping stations to troubleshoot problems, make recommendations, and assess as-built conditions.•Respond to submittals, RFI’s, and coordinate design changes with clients and contractors through Engineering Services During Construction (ESDC) contracts.•Execute condition assessments through site visits and prepare accompanying reports to document deficiencies and recommendations.•Perform mechanical engineering analyses using published technical data, design calculations, and hydraulic modeling software.•Use 3D modeling software to draft mechanical layouts of complex treatment trains.•Manage CAD/BIM inter-disciplinary drawing coordination and setup of project standards.
