Worked as a media payables officer, handling the reconciliation of multiple media types, including overseas, digital and radio. My monthly tasks included handling and reconciling over 100 different account per month and handling of invoices, communicating between the media team and the supplier for variances within the media plan and how much the invoices were and also the back up mailbox for when our main mailbox worker was away.Due to reconciliation being my main focus, I have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and have learnt how to calculate GST and pay invoices in multiple currencies. My communication skills are also excellent as I had to communicate with our media team to understand where the payments will be coming from, the supplier for if they have sent an incorrect invoice over and communication within our team to ensure that our team members know how our work load is for the month incase someone is struggling. My time management skills are strong due to having to be the backup mailbox, reconciling a large volume of accounts and also having to get ready to process the month-end payments.
