As Regional Manager my responsibilities included managing the field operations and reporting teams, pricing, negotiation and invoicing of projects, budget management, business development, marketing, recruitment of permanent and temporary staff. I also prepared geotechnical reports and Phase I and Phase II geo-environmental reports and reviewed all interpretive reports issued from the Warrington office.

Responsibilities included supervision and mentoring of engineers from graduate to senior level, the preparation of geotechnical reports and Phase I and Phase II geo-environmental reports, the quality checking of all reports issued by other staff, and the preparation of proposals for geotechnical and geo-environmental investigations

Responsibilities included preparation of factual and interpretative geotechnical and geo-environmental reports, undertaking desk studies, scheduling of laboratory testing, supervision and mentoring of engineers and technicians, preparation and pricing of proposals, supervising site work and undertaking validation surveys.

Responsible for the site supervison of a range of fieldwork projects including an investigation of an 8 km section of a proposed road route in Nottinghamshire, comprising cable percussion drilling, rotary drilling, and trial pitting with in situ testing.

Worked for several site investigation contractors, with projects inlcuding a Transco pipeline route comprising 90 boreholes, over a distance of over 50 miles. I was also responsible for factual report writing, scheduling of laboratory testing, and preparation of invoices

Responsible for supervision of a variety of fieldwork including cable percussion and rotary drilling, trial pitting for both geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, and for the organisation and procurement of plant and equipment.

Responsibilities included site supervision, factual reporting, and scheduling of laboratory testing. Projects included numerous schemes for the framework contracts for both Severn Trent Water and Commission for New Towns.

Undertook a 1 year work experience placement, where my responsibilities included ground atmosphere monitoring, in-situ geotechnical testing, logging of soils to BS 5930, and preparation of factual reports.
