With 12 years experience as a Marine Engineering Officer, I decided for personal reasons to come ashore to further my career.In this time I worked on a number of building services projects including London City Airport,Goldman Sachs Fleet St, Barclays Capital in Canary Wharf and Earls Court & Olympia to name a few.Then in 2005 I joined the team at ExCeL London as Event Support Manager and have subsequently further developed my career here. Having taken on a number of key energy saving projects, I am proud to have assisted the company to develop sound systems and processes that have played integral part in the growth of the business.These developments were instrumental in ExCeL London beind awarded the Mayor of London's Green 500 Diamond Award, as well as host of industry related awards.My current focus is to maintain the building as well as enhancing the overall customer experience and keeping control of our energy usages and costs.In my spare time I have also been a Governor of 3 schools in Newham, a role that I am also very passionate about.Working on the Olympic & Paralympic Games taking place at ExCeL London in 2012 was a hugely rewarding experience for me.
