Wireless access for UBC FoM affiliates in clinical sites is currently inconsistent across BC, which not only needs to be resolved for accreditation purposes, but is also increasingly inconvenient for students, residents, faculty, and staff. As an Audio Visual Specialist I've been given the opportunity to apply my technical knowledge to a number of Capital Project initiatives, as well as participating in ongoing legacy AV upgrades. My experience in working with projects and program initiatives has helped me a great deal in understanding better how to manage our clients expectations in an effective and efficient manner that allows the users to gain the biggest impact from our systems.

Performed day-to-day operational duties, Responsible for ensuring that presenter AV presentations and multi-media-playback equipment was functioning properly. I was responsible for scheduling various meetings and events both locally and through our distributed Video Conferencing Bridge. I coordinated with session coordination members and distributed liaisons so as to ensure that the client’s needs and the script needs were met.

Currently seconded as a Subject Matter Expert for our Capital Renewal Project Team. Supplying technical insight regarding the programs video, audio and system control needs.

Performed day-to-day operational duties, Responsible for ensuring that AV presentation, multi-media presentation and media-playback equipment is functioning properly and is appropriately scheduled for various meetings and events. Coordinated with local and distributed faculty liaisons ensured that the client’s needs and the script needs were met.

Scheduled and coordinated AV technician and show crew manpower needs for events within North America. Coordinated shipping and handling of event equipment throughout North America.

Worked as an onsite company representative for client referral and event coordination. My role covered launching the opening of the Metrotown Hilton Hotel. The re-branding of The Vancouver Pan Pacific Hotel along with seasonal work at The Vancouver Hotel.
