I managed projects and oversaw installation teams working with clients, architects, general contractors, interior designers, and all other trades in designing, building, and maintaining integrated low-voltage systems.

Humboldt Productions was formed with my partners Ben Steger and Lawrence Adams for the sole purpose of producing and releasing our documentary film Left Field about an adult kickball league in Chicago.

Custom Sound was founded by PK Smith in 1954 when he sold Heathkits out of his living room. The company expanded to a full service retail and custom installation firm by the time I arrived in '98. This was the place to get high end electronics, service and support in Wichita, Kansas. Being a small mom and pop operation (literally) I got the opportunity to wear several hats including but not limited to retail floor sales, custom install, software programming and all manners of customer service. PK taught me a lot about running a small business; I will always cherish my time working with him.
