Day to day tasks included: enhancing performance, monthly patching of 250+ servers, upgrading of systems, developing procedures, scheduling appropriate database backups, and working with peers in order to resolve complex issues or to come up with creative solutions. Also to ensure technical and functional designs meet business requirements. Also this work was to keep the business aware of all outages and upgrades.
