Project: Quebec City tramway | $5Billion+ ProjectMy role consisted of analyzing technical and contractual documents for utilities on this multibillion-dollar project and coordinating a team of 10.Achievements:- I successfully implemented a management plan to manage +-100M$ and prevent as much in delays. The plan structure included: Project coordination │ Team coordination │ Assembly of a data base │ Data analysis │ Follow up structure.- I increased efficiency of the utility group by 40%. This was achieved by coaching human resources on how to properly use the data base structured by me. The project contains thousands of "utility conflicts" that need to be clearly and quickly identified, the management plan solves this issue.My tasks consisted of:- Structuring the utility project management part of the Quebec City tramway project.- Structure a data base with an easy to understand nomenclature.- Train colleagues and subcontractors to optimize efficiency.- Assign and delegate different tasks to the team and subcontractors.

Project: Ontario Line South | $5Billion+ ProjectI was part of the winning joint venture for this multibillion-dollar project. During the 18 months long bid, I coordinated a team of 15 for the utility portion of the project.Achievements:- Structured a SharePoint for the entire project.- Optimized data presentation of 20 PowerPoint slides into 2. Utilities are a critical subject on every major construction projects. I successfully found a way to present all relevant information for higher management into a single slide. This significantly reduced uncertainty and questions by all.My tasks consisted of:- Peruse of contract.- Conceptual design analysis to avoid conflicts between utilities and other disciplines.- Ensure optimal flow of information between other disciplines regarding utilities.- Coordinating and obtaining requested information and deliverables by subcontractors.- Preliminary bidding price for utility works.- Assembling a data bank for all "utility conflicts" within or at proximity of the project.

I was charged with installing 250+ foundations for the overhead contact system of the South shore part of the REM project, a project worth +-2M$. Foundations had beaten and bored types. I successfully resolved unforeseen complications with 30 foundations without delaying other activities. Foundations had to to be partially re-bored.My tasks consisted of:- Procurement and approval for all different materials required for the foundations: Steel casing │ Rebars │ Concrete │ Anchors.- Coordinating and supervising on site work for: Foundation installation │ Rebar cage installation │ Concrete pours │ Anchors installation │ Caisson & anchor anti-rust painting.- Quality control requiring positioning errors of less than 25mm.- On site coordination with different working disciplines.

I was charged with coordinating utility work for the South shore part of the REM project. I managed and coordinated 10+ projects with teams containing 5-15 members to realize on site work worth 100k$ to 2M$. The utilities project types were: Identifying and Locating │ Relocating │ ProtectionMy tasks consisted of:- Keeping the utility data base up to date with a constantly evolving information.- Identifying and locating all utilities within or in proximity of the construction project.- Cross-referencing the previous information with all construction plans to identify and avoid potential delays.- Initiating relocation projects when physical conflicts happen between future structures and utilities. This task required to assemble tenders call and select a subcontractor.- Coordination and supervision of on-site work between teams.- Quality control.Relocation projects accomplished: Duct banks (electrical and telecom) │ Overhead telecom lines │ Overhead electrical lines │ Road drainage

Tasked with bidding more than 20 civil construction projects and successfully winning 5 effectively bringing +-50M$ worth of work to the company. Project types were varied: Bridges │ Roads │ Excavations │ Water/Sewer systems │ Foundations │ Pumping Stations │ Docks │ Retaining Walls │ DamsMy tasks consisted of:- Analyzing contracts to identify what fell under the entrepreneur's responsibilities.- Structure the full estimation with Bid2Win program. This encompasses choosing the types of teams required, doing quantity take-offs, choosing production rates and 3D modelling the project in AutoCad when required.- Finding and analyzing different construction methods to optimize construction time and reduce costs.- Identifying possible challenges that could arise before or during construction phase.- Contacting subcontractors and vendors to obtain the best teams and prices.- Frequently work with a team of estimators for larger projects.
