My responsibilities include the development and implementation of a full Health and Safety Program for an Industrial Transportation Company Certified in COR by Energy Safety Canada.Further duties include working directly with client safety and management teams, field supervision and employees on all matters related to Health Safety and Environment.Mentor and support Managers, Supervisors and Employees Facilitate safety related training and Inspections. Lead Investigations and assist with the implementation of suitable corrective actions.

Facilitate HSE program on a project that is expected to have between 800-900 employees. Dealing directly with the client Toyo and the owner Jacos/Japex on a daily basis. Advise various levels of JV Driver Construction Management on daily field operations in regards to the HSE program. Lead incident investigations and conduct formal inspections.

Facilitate the IDL/JV Driver HSE program on a project site with 200 employees. Dealing directly with the client Bechtel, and the owner Reo Tinto Alcan on a daily basis. Advise IDL and JV Driver Project Management on daily field operations in regards to the HSE program. In Constant communication with IDL’s Corporate Safety Manager.Other responsibilities include leading investigations including Tap Root facilitation and Claims Management.

Deal directly with the client Bechtel and the owner Reo Tinto Alcan on a daily basis.Ensure that all requirements of the Health and Safety Program are carried out by all project personnel, including construction management, contractors, vendors and other parties conducting work or visiting site.Work directly with Project/Construction Management regarding all matters of Health, Safety, and Environment. Develop, implement and maintain the emergency response plan.Mentor investigation leads conducting incident investigations. Liaise with JVD/IDL Corporate on effective claims management.
