All sites had assembly and testing facilities with 2 of the plants having machining and painting expertise as well in support of the Services and Aftermarket business for Onesubsea. In total the region employed approximately 600 people with sales in the region of $200M. In my role I was leading the design, development and execution of an manufacturing excellence program for all the sites across the region.

Aberdeen, United Kingdom

Senior Leader involved in business turnaround of an existing brown field business that encompasses 2 separate business streams located within the Aberdeen site. The Aberdeen site specializes in the high precision machining, welding, assembly and testing of Subsea and Drilling equipment. The campus has a total turnover across the businesses of approximately $120M employing 510 employees. The remit of the role has been to drive significant improvement of all current key business KPI’s resulting in improvement in overall customer service levels, experience and both top and bottom line growth. Focus and aim has been to develop a sustainable business model to support key North Sea Operator business objectives within the European sector.Full P&L responsibility for the businesses operating out of Aberdeen. Report to the Director of Operations and Projects for Europe and Africa.

Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Multi-site role engaged in the development and implement of business growth plan for the UK and European Operations in conjunction with the European Marketing Leader. P&L responsibility for the manufacturing plant located in Ilkeston Derbyshire where the operation encompassed high precision machining, assembly and test of a full range of pumps. In my role I also had financial oversight and responsibility for the service and warehouse operation in Belgium. Report to the Global International Director for the Tuthill UK and Europe

Scotland

A multi site role developing and implementing business growth plans for the UK plant in Cumbernauld, Scotland whilst ensuring the plant start up processes for new plants India and China were implemented to agreed timescales and cost targets. P&L responsibility for manufacturing sites in Cumbernauld, UK and China. Operational responsibilities for two manufacturing plants in India.Management of the day-to-day operations with direct responsibility for all plant functions across the various sites reporting into the Global Operations Director for the Parts and Service Business Unit within Cummins aftermarket business.

Memphis

Recruited to the role to develop and implement the manufacturing integration strategy for the gas business both at the Memphis and San Luis Potosi (Mexico) plants. P&L responsibility for diesel and gas business at Memphis as well as the Gas Business operation in San Luis Potosi. Management of the day-to-day operations with direct responsibility for all plant functions across both businesses. Report to the Operations Director for the Parts and Service Business Unit.

Toronto, Canada Area

Recruited to the role to develop and implement a business strategy for survival of the gas business within Cummins whilst managing the day-to-day operations having P&L responsibility for the Gas Business based at the Toronto facilitiy. Reported to the Global General Manager for the Parts and Service Business Unit.
