Since 2012 our venue has grown from 150 to more than 700 acres that include a 1.25 mile oval, 1/4 mile drag strip, 1.6 and 2.0 mile road course, the Gateway Kartplex, a rallycross circuit, off-road course and an adjacent golf course. In addition to our many events, I am also a member of the Leadership Council of Southwest Illinois Executive Committee and Chairman of the LCSWIL Military Affairs Committee. Since 2021, I have been a member of the Air Mobility Command National Civic Leader program. In 2020 I was the founder of the Illinois Motorsports Coalition which worked with the State of Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity to establish guidelines for the re-opening of racing venues during the COVID-19 shutdowns.

Oversaw the International production and development of NHRA Championship Drag Racing in the Northwestern United States and Western Canada. Guided short and long-term business strategies for increased membership, series expansion and sponsorship sales development. Supervised a traveling production team of event officials, safety personnel and on-air talent for events.

Was responsible for the overall leadership, management and strategic direction of event development. Oversaw all event operations of new events including conceptualization, budgeting, scheduling, marketing and sales of new concepts. Worked closely with stadium and arena general managers to insure proper show production and facility relations. Maintained close relationships with marketing partners to insure proper activation, concept improvements and further growth.
