I have been a full service restaurant manager for over 11 years now. I have been a general manager, assistant general manager, back of house manager, and a bar manager. I started my career at Bob Evans Farms directly out of college and worked my way up to a general manager in just under 4 years. I then left and took a position with Burntwood Tavern as a beverage manager and excelled there for just short of 3 years. Most Currently, I am the bar manager for Yours Truly in Downtown Cleveland. It is the first full service bar in the company's history. I opened, staffed, and trained every bartender hired. One of my greatest accomplishments as an operator is motivating people to maximize their efficiency to achieve the common goal. I also take pride in being a "working" manager, meaning I enjoy getting my hands dirty with my staff. I feel if you know how to do a job, you can teach it much better to an employee. I am currently aspiring to be a multi unit manager of a full service restaurant group. My ultimate goal is to be a district beverage manager.i have trained numerous new bar managers during the explosive growth of The Burntwood Tavern, now Chefartpour Restaurant group. I am the happiest when I am talking to a happy guest when a bartender that I trained just poured the perfect drink. I am also HUGE into numbers, statistics, and trends. I break down my budget and profit and lose statements with a fine toothed comb to not only find opportunities to increase profits, but to celebrate the accomplishments that my staff and I achieved.
