I became an engineer because I find accomplishment in improving a process or product that results in improved quality, reduced waste, improved employee safety and more. I more specifically became an industrial engineer because I also find enjoyment in working with cross functional teams to complete a project.Beginning in high school and throughout my education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I began to notice I have strong analytical skills and an instinct in identifying ways something can be improved. Over the past 6+ years at Medline as an engineer, I have been able to successfully lead projects that contributed to annual cost savings goal of $1 million. Over the years I have been able to succeed under different management styles and revolving cross functional teamsSome of my success can be attributed to my motivation to always try to keep learning and get better. Whether that's through new job responsibilities, extracurricular education, or additional challenges outside of work. My desire is to be in a career that allows me to grow and make an impact on the company and those around me.
