In partnership with the VP of Ocean Freight, we drive the global operational excellence structure, lead the tender management team, and oversee IT product and business application management. Our Airfreight strategy is rooted in fostering strong partnerships with both customers and airlines. As Head of Airfreight for Southeast Asia & Oceania, I lead the Product Team across 13 countries, incl. TH, PH, MY, SG, ID, JP, AU, NZ, KR, MM, KH, and VN. The role is focused on shaping the Airfreight product portfolio, driving the region’s P&L, and ensuring alignment with the global strategy. To drive this, I focussed in the role on:- Shaping the Air product portfolio and driving the Air P&L within the region.- Establishing our global standards and getting pending countries IATA licensed.- Setting up the first airfreight gateway in the region.- Contributing to global volume goals by establishing focus lanes together with the commercial team.- Engaging with sales and customers, particularly in developing key accounts.- Setting up the procurement structure, driving down the share of master loaders significantly.- Implementing operational standards and improvements.

As Global Product Strategy Manager for Airfreight, reporting to the COO A&O, I lead a team of six central product and project managers, my responsibilities included:- Standardizing and refining the airfreight product in terms of structure, procurement, & tariff management.- Developing and aligning the airfreight volume strategy with product, COO, and CEO expectations.- Ensuring the strategy implementation with transparent reporting, fostering accountability.- Exploring new revenue streams through product innovation and expansion into new regions.- Overseeing and driving strategic developments and projects on a global scale.- Leading market intelligence initiatives for the airfreight product.

Stockholm County, Sweden

To boost its presence in the Nordic countries, Rhenus acquired Swedlink Logistics AB in SE with offices in Stockholm, Malmo, Jonkopping & Gothenburg. In this role I was actively supporting and driving this development, focusing on integrating these entities into the existing European Road Freight Network. Key Contributions:- Led the post-merger integration of Swedlink into the European Road Freight Network.- Driving growth initiatives, inc. M&A activities & strategic collaborations with (inter)national partners.- Represented the Nordic countries, as well as CZ & SK, in the European Product Management.- Ensured transparency and quality in alignment with our standards as well as Nordic distribution networks.- Coordinated projects across Operations, IT, and Sales, and represented the Road product in the Nordics Management Board.

Rhenus in Asia is a leader in A&O Freight, and I was appointed to develop the Road Product across 8 countries, reporting to the CEO of Southeast Asia. In this role, I successfully- Defined the operational standards and blueprints (including SOPs, documents, & MDM).- Implemented professional vendor management, covering standard contracts, usage policies, vendor database, Procurement & RFQ process, and vendor and driver manual regulation.- Led the working group „Asia Road Team“ with stakeholders from 8 different countries.- Implemented the in-house TMS for MM & TH and customer applications (e.g., T&T) region-wide.- Set up of cross-border trucking between CN and EU, evaluating vendors and creating the commercial framework.- Developed new consolidation products and traffic concepts using existing structures such as the WH locations and customs clearance teams while improving the service level with features such as double stack containers.

After successfully completing the degree apprenticeship program at Rhenus, I joined the Road Network Team within the European Road Freight division. In this role, I was responsible for:- Managing the operational quality and related standards (KPIs & processes).- Launching European product initiatives, including a new B2C product.- Designing IT applications to enhance our customer experience.- Organizing and coordinating the European Product Management team.- Conducting on-site analyses and consultation on operational efficiency across various branches.- Developing internal process flows, including the Road Freight Manual, and implementing new organizational standards across Europe.- Serving as the central contact for pan-European cooperation initiatives (e.g. SAE).
