I have over 7 years of experience working as a chef in the hospitality industry. I have a huge passion and a strong skill set in modernized cooking. I combine this with a vast and forever growing knowledge of food research & development, to aid myself in exceeding and to push the boundaries of not only my food but my understanding of gastronomy as an art form. Currently, I’m pursuing my own adventure by setting up my own business, The Unorthodox Kitchen, a private dining “At Your Home” company. I wanted to remove the shackles and constrictive nature of restaurant work and have taken this as a new mission in life to show-case my food expertise in the culinary industry. The Unorthodox Kitchen has been live for over a year. I’m pleased to mention within this short period of time, The Unorthodox Kitchen has been producing and covering well over a 100 dinner parties, with a growing database of loyal clients and with increased weekly bookings the business is fast becoming the new way to dine. In the early days of my career, I have worked around the country in England and Wales in highly reputable hotels and restaurants. Working with notable chefs such as Matt Smith – Head Chef, The Free Masons Arms (AA Restaurant of the Year, 2017 – 2018). Matt was by far the most influencing chef I have ever had the privilege to work for. He has clearly proven to be a major role player in the hospitality industry and will continue to succeed in his field, to not only to be my mentor but to other chefs also.
