Chris will undertake consultancy, project work or provide interim management and leadership support working with for profit, not for profit and voluntary sector organisationsWith a breadth of knowledge of the UK affordable housing sector Chris focuses on helping clients to plan for the future, implement strategy, improve operational efficiency and manage change working with key stakeholders including staff and residents.

Responsible for the performance of the Operations Directorate. Ensured customer service standards were established and maintained. Key financial and non financial targets were met and that the Association maintained a good reputation as a social housing landlord with external stakeholders. This operational responsibility covered all housing, asset management, customer service, sheltered and supported housing, business development and tenant and community participation and regeneration activities for an organisation serving c3000 residents. Introduced EFQM (Business Excellence) to Marches HA, leading to Investor in Excellence accreditation. Achieved QHS enhanced accreditation status.Responsible for developing strategic and operational responses at both policy and procedural level to changes in the business environment. This included advising the Board and other Managers of the risks facing the business and ensuring actions are taken to manage or mitigate risk, cross company work within the Jephson Housing Association group including direct liaison with the Group Chief Executive. Leadership of corporate customer service and resident involvement policy for the Jephson Housing Association Group.Overall responsibility for the growth of the Association’s asset and revenue base ensuring land was purchased and properties built across the operating areas of the Association, acquiring external funding to sustain and support this activity. Key Achievements:• Introduction of Choice Based Letting Service for Herefordshire.• Achievement of Investors in Excellence Accreditation.• Increased development programme from 20 units to 100 units per annum in 2 years.• Achievement of Quality Housing Services Enhanced Accreditation.• Developed Resident Scrutiny arrangements for the Jephson Group.• Continuous achievement of top quartile performance for a range of business KPIs
