From a logistics perspective, my role is to project manage new models and updates as part of a cross functional team to ensure gateways are met at a part by part level, and that parts are available and audited for build phases. Powertrain is a module requiring a high level of part knowledge, as parts are complex in both their function and design.

I manage the part supply, status and quality of parts for the pre series engines for future models, and the data related to the above. I am responsible for continuous improvement in my area. Finally, I am trained in internal auditing, TS auditing, hazardous goods recognition and shipping by air.

In my role as an apprentice I completed various secondments, including vendor planning/procurement, package design and procuring of, Bill of Material Creation, Introduction of scan replenishment via the technical support team and parts evolution through teh engineering change team.
