Oversaw the administration and operations of a combined fire department with 87 FTE's and 12 Reserves. Provided leadership and guidance to 3 Chief Officers and 5 administrative staff members. Served on the City Manager's Advisory Team and provided guidance relative to public safety issues. Served as the Emergency Manager for the City of Tracy and the South County Fire Authority. Worked collaboratively with state, county and local government officials to ensure the safety of the community and the surrounding area. Developed and managed a $16 million dollar annual budget to provide emergency and non-emergency services. Oversaw the development and implementation of an annual capital budget with responsibility for the planning, design and construction of new facilities. Responsible for the planning and allocation of emergency services for current and future years. Oversight of the design, development and implementation of a city-wide Geospatial Information System (GIS) for the City of Tracy.
